As people who love the ocean - and spend a lot of time surfing in it and relaxing on its beaches - we are making efforts to reduce our impact on the planet. Here are some of the ways we are doing this: • Our printer uses wind power. • We use recycled paper and envelopes as much as possible. Our colored envelopes will all be "green" by the end of 2008. Our white envelopes and natural white are at least 30% post consumer recycled paper. • We shut down all of our computers, printers and all peripherals at night. • We recycle our packing materials - all "popcorn" is from shipments we have received, so we are not buying any new stuff. • We recycle all paper waste. • We are members of, and donate to several environmental groups such as Surfrider Foundation, Environmental Defense and Biogems. We are always looking for more ways to be green so if you see a great recycled product or idea out there, please feel free to let us know about it! Thank you!

GREEN PACKAGING When we complete and ship an order, we usually put each 10 pack or invitation set in a clear plastic box and then pack it all into a cardboard shipping box. In our efforts to reduce consumption of plastic goods, we are willing to package your order without the clear plastic box. If this is something you are interested in, simply put "ship it green" (or something of that nature) in the special instructions box on the order form. We will wrap your order up with a nice bow instead of a plastic box! Thanks! |
